Terms of service
Last updated 29 October 2026
These terms cover your use of the Mergeline browser extension and website. By installing Mergeline or buying a license you agree to them.
Purchases
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Subscriptions
Mergeline Pro is a subscription billed monthly or yearly. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the Manage subscription page or the link in your Paddle receipt; Pro keeps working until the end of the period you paid for. If we change the price, we'll tell existing subscribers before their next renewal at the new price.
Your license
A Pro license is for one person. You may activate it on up to 3 browsers at a time and move it between browsers by removing it in the extension. You may not share, resell or publish your license key.
Your emails and your Gmail account
Mergeline sends the emails you write, to the people you choose, from your own Gmail account. You are responsible for your lists and messages, for having permission to email the people on them, and for following the law and Google's rules for Gmail, including anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM and GDPR where they apply. Gmail limits how many emails an account can send, and Google may restrict accounts that send unwanted email. Mergeline's pacing and limits reduce that risk but cannot remove it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Mergeline to send spam, phishing or unlawful content, to email people who asked not to be contacted, to infringe others' rights, or to attack, overload or reverse engineer the license service.
Free plan and changes
The free plan's limits may change. Gmail changes its website, so sending may stop working until we update Mergeline. We may update Mergeline and these terms; if a change materially affects paid customers, we'll post it on this page before it takes effect.
Warranty and liability
Mergeline is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending your license
When your subscription ends, your license key stops working and Mergeline returns to the free plan. We may revoke a license used in breach of these terms. If a payment is charged back, the license is revoked automatically.
Trademarks
Gmail is a trademark of Google LLC. Mergeline is not affiliated with Google.
